i always see people having birthdays....
I click on the name... and see they joined 12 months...16 months ago and only have 3 - 10 posts.
Obviously they are no longer here.
Get rid of them. If you haven\'t posted in the last year...see ya.
Sure it will bring down the total number of registered users...but it is better to know how many people actual use this great site.

it seems like this community isnt growing as fast as the mazda3forum one. but i dont even go to that one.

personally i find that one has way to many sections, besides im canadian =D.

As great of an idea as that sounds, it\'s not that easy.

First I\'d have to look up the join dates of each member... Then I have to look up the last post date.... And (here\'s the worst part) I\'d have to delete all the \"non-active\" members ONE BY ONE. That might take a while...

A lot of them log in to read the messages (yes I know it is not required). Unless the admin screens allow you to see the last log-in date, deleting ppl who don\'t post will not be a good idea.

May I suggest you just ignore the birthday box instead of messing with peoples accounts?

how about you program the birthday box to show only those people who have posted...at least once in the last 6 months.
