Hey Toronto Mazda3ers,

I just need some clarification. I know midnightfxgt (John) is on this setup, but with a deeper drop, but I just want to make sure I won\'t have any problems with this setup. I tried searching, but it gave me a whole lot of erroneous results. :sarc

Here are the specs.. 17 x 7 - 40 mm offset - 205/50/17 tire, on a Progress Technology drop. This won\'t rub AT ALL, correct?

Thanks all
Geoff

exactly how much is ur car lowered by??

the following is not from experience but just from a lot of research I\'ve done here and on mazda3forums.com..

I did some measurements recently and it looks like if you dropped your car about 1.5mm then you should (again I say should because this isn\'t from experience) be ok but you should still be careful going over bumps.. if you changed your tires to something like 205 (or 215)/45/17 then you\'ll of course have more room to play with..

No problems, you are only pushing another 18mm towards the fenders and 6mm towards the struts.

I am dropped lower on my Coilovers than Progress springs, and am fine :) I had the coils up in the winter and not as low last year, and no issues ever.

I know your looking for others experiences, but hey, $0.02 is $0.02! :D

Hey Geoff,

I\'m running 17x7.5 43mm offset and 215/45-17 with a Pro-kit drop and I have no problems and you shouldn\'t either with that set-up.
