View Full Version : MoonRoof Wind Deflector
Does anyone have (or can post) pics of the 3 w/ a moon roof deflector. I want to see how it looks,...i\'m starting to get second thoughts about getting it with my car.
My car arrives in a couple of weeks, so I hope I still have a chance to cancel the deflector, but I\'d like to see how it looks on the car first.
Thanks in advance!

I\'m not a big fan of the moon roof deflector on the Mazda3 unless the car is black. I think it ruins the lines of the car. But hey....I will admit it does cut down on the excessive noise that comes from the wind. I got these pics from the mazda3forums. Click on the picture.

The deflector is a dealer-installed option so you should still be able to cancel that order. I too am not a fan of the way it looks, plus, I\'m pretty sure it requires holes to be drilled into the roof!

There is a modification you can do to the factory deflector on the M3F.
I was thinking of doing it b/c it cuts out the wind noise.

No holes, it uses a couple of clips that hook onto the sheet metal of the roof.
Maybe I\'ll just leave it, and hopefully its easy to uninstall if I dont like it.
If anyone has one and can post pics , that\'d be great.
Thanks.
