Got my new Kumho ECSTA ASX tires this morning from tiretrends.com, now I need to get them installed. Where\'s the best place (cheapest!) to get them mounted & balanced? I\'m in North York, Yonge/Sheppard.
Looking for a 4-wheel alignment too.
Best price I\'ve gotten so far over the phone is $20/tire for mounting/balancing, and $60 for the alignment. Sounds pretty good so I might just jump on that.
thanks eh!

Thanks for the recommendation. I had planned to just buy the tires & have \'em installed at Tires23 since they seem to be highly regarded on the forum. Unfortunately they, like everyone else I called around town, couldn\'t get the tires until July since they\'re on backorder from Kumho.
I ended up ordering from tiretrends & they were at my door in about a week & a half. After calling around to a few more places yesterday, I ended up going to National Tire just west of Yorkdale mall (much closer than Mississauga). They had me in & out pretty quickly & it was 175$ all in for mounting/balancing/disposal & a 4-wheel alignment.
cheers,

Congrats on the tires. I think you will like driving on the ASX. I got a set myself in 18\"s from Tires23 last year and have put about 20,000kms on them now. Great tire in the wet and dry. How much did you pay for the tires and what size did you get?

Thanks, Red - they seem really nice so far. HUGE improvement over the RS/As. For 205/50/17s, it came to $695 all in with shipping & taxes.
Feels great to be able to have a little fun around the corners again, I was really babying the old tires & less than ideal alignment. It\'s like having a new car, or being back in my old MX-3 ( ** pours out a little liquor **). Good times!
