Do you have the carpetted floor mats? I have the rubber all-weather mats and I haven\'t noticed any sort of static.

What about trying some anti-static fabric spray on the seats? I think it\'s called Hero or something like that. Just a thought.

After reading this thread i found out its the carpet mats. When i had the rubber mats i never experienced this but after i took it out static comes.

I was thinking the airbig sensor on the driver seat was loose or something or whatever the wires under the driver seat are.

I just let my upper arm hit the metal part of the door when I step out of the car. Shock feels less tingly when going through clothing. ;)

Don\'t fondle the midget. :p

I haven\'t had any static shock since I switched to the rubber mats. Was a killer problem for me in the winter time with the old carpet mats in the car, and when the air is much drier.
