Some asshat in an EVO loses control and plows into a group of cars parked way to close to the track. Who in their right mind would let any cars park there? Idiots everywhere....

Booooo....
From reading some of the comments the guy who lost it did so previously twice before hand and most likely should have been *removed from the track session.
I agree...

scary looking incident. I also don\'t undersandt why they were parked so close to the track.
Hope they have good insurance...
I agree, Mazda 3s should be banned from Shannonville. 3 spin-outs in one day! j/k :D
That driver in the EVO was just retarded. If he just didn\'t try to save it, none of that would have happened. Should have done what wtom did, better to be safe than sorry, especially with a G35 and an NSX sitting right there. Btw, I was bored and actually read the thread... the instructor in the car with the camera was actually yelling at the driver for driving towards the accident and taping it. That\'s why the owner of the video added music to that section. As if his buddy who crashed wasn\'t stupid enough...

While the driver likely could have saved that whole thing from happening, the people who parked there are just as at fault IMO. I would never park so close to a race track like that.

The guy filming is the biggest idiot on this planet. The very next day he was at Watkins Glen and was kicked out of event there for reckless driving and not listening to organizers. In the video his buddy wipes out and he stops his car on the track and drives towards the wreckage just so he could film it and not listening to his instructor.
Don;t blame the car owners for parking there. I first blamed the organizers, but apparently that is what has been happening for years. Surprised nothing has happened before. Regardless, it is ultimately the tracks fault for a very bad design. There should be a nice cement wall there.
EDIT: nevermind, read the first post of the thread, what I said was incorrect

Who\'s insurance will cover the repair? The track\'s or the EVO owner\'s?

Insurance usually doesn\'t cover anyone.
