So this past long weekend the wife and I headed down to Pittsburgh to visit some old college friends of mine. While there we took a trip out to Mill Run to visit a summer cottage designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Kaufman Family in the mid 1930\'s. An architectural landmark by any standard. I also got to try out my new digital camera.

Not bad for a summer cottage.

Looks like a really relaxing place. I\'m thinking, I need to get out of the city and relax.

I\'ve seen this house in so many architectural periodicals when I was in school that I really wasn\'t expecting too much. The home is better known as Falling Water. When I actually was there I was awestruck by the sound of the water combined with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The house is surprisingly integral with its surroundings given its modern vocabulary. I couldn’t decide what to do first….walk the site, do the indoor tour or pee.


I went to the bathroom…..
