i have a brand new rims whcih i kept from my old car (fit Audi) 5x112, I know Mazda 3 is 5x114, it is possible to drill the holes to making it fit
anybody know or have tried it

I think some tire shops do that, check with them.

I would be surprised if this could be done. You are playing with the structural integrity of the wheel here.
Better off to sell the set on VWvortex and buy some correct fitting rims.
yes, after thinking about it some more, I have put them up for sale,
once again, thank you for everyones input.
