View Full Version : Auto Down switch TBS and fix
I want to know if anyone have had your pwr window switch autodown problem, as discribed by this TBS (http://www.finishlineperformance.com/mazda3/docs/0029.pdf). Markham Mazda has not been helpful at all about this, their either waited until the car cooled off then test the switch, or claimed the problem is an American issue, even though my car VIN is covered in the TBS.
I would like to know which dearship in GTR would happyly replace the switch without making excuse. I would not hesitate to take all my future business to they because I just about had it with Markham Mazda!!:( :(
**Majic, please don\'t post your famous search it post as I just spent over one hour searching for posting and answers on the forums. The only one I can find is Ahhh\'s post. :(

How stupid is that? The TSB says that it \"is most likely to occur a few times after the vehicle has sat in high ambient temperatures\".

None. Dealerships don\'t make mony on TSB work. If the part isn\'t that expensive I may just buy it and do the work myself.

how about you... ;) j/k :p
give avante a shot (richmond hill) - so far, all my TSB issues have been fixed by them without hesitation.. if that doesn\'t work there\'s Westowne or MoT that have been pretty good to most folk when it comes to TSBs..

I had the same problem.
Car was less than 4 months old.
It usually occured after the car was in the heat for a while.
Took it to Westowne and they replaced the window regulator and motor. No charge.
They didn\'t give me a hard time at all.
No problems with the window since.
Good Luck.

My window did that for the first 2 months of ownership... However the problem kinda solved itself after that (either that or Westowne fixed it without telling me).
mmmmh, sounds like Westown is pretty good too.
Thanks for the feedbacks. Now I definitely have some choices than @#$* Markham Mazda!

Hey MZR3
Check out this (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=2663) link... I had the same problem and was fixed. I had taken it to Mazda Of Toronto.
Edit.
Just noticed that i did not update the other thread with a fix...
There was a updated switch according to the TSB that was provided in the thread. MOT had to confirm with Mazda Canada if it was available in Canada and it was. The part was ordered and installed and no issues since.
