July 29th - Pre-Meets

Toronto Mazda3 Car Meet - Central - Saturday, July 29th, 2006
Interchange Entertainment Complex, Concord (Highways 400 & 7, in front of Bally Total Fitness)

Pre-meet:
East: Kennedy Commons, Scarborough (Kennedy Rd., just South of Hwy 401)
Westside: AMC Courtney Park, Mississauga (Highway10/Hurontario St, two blocks north of Hwy 401)

Notes & Reminders:
Bring an FRS radio if you have one. These are most useful on the cruise to the main meet location.
Bring your camera(s)! (Still and Video!)

Location & Schedule:
Westside:
Meet location within the parking lot: North end of the lot. North of the AMC theatre, East of the McDonalds.
3:00 PM - Westside Pre-Meet; AMC Courtney Park, Mississauga
3:30 PM - Westside departs for Central Meet

East:
Kennedy Commons, Scarborough (Just south of Green Lane on Yonge St, 18151 Yonge Street, Newmarket)
3:00 PM - Eastside Pre-Meet; Kennedy Commons, Scarborough
3:30 PM - Eastside departs for Central Meet

We need to start discussing MOM and with some of us in Ottawa its not going to be easy. Could I ask for those who go to the meet to try and organize a possible meet place and time prior to MOM.

Also we need to work out the food issue, especially considering this will be our biggest turnout for MOM YET!!!!

I have an extra FRS radio in case someone wants to use one during the cruise.

It\'s going to be fun to see how I\'m going to record the cruise while trying to drive. I could have sworn I saw a thread about someone\'s video camera mount, but I can\'t seem to find it now. :(

seems like this is the year for the mini meets and other events, not so much the \"official\" meets

I\'ll be there. I think cause the Quebec meet, some of the regular won\'t attend this one.

Yah 7 are off to Ottawa but its not going be that big of a difference. Probably about 3 people that have been to the official meets often. Well thought this would be a good idea for those who wanted to have a meet this month, yah people are away but I still think this will be a 10-15 car meet.

or should we set up some east and west spots and then all meet somewhere near the place and then crusie in together!

I think we should all meet up at the east end meet location.
The park is at Elgin Mills and Leslie right by the 404.
When we meet, we can just take the 404 up there.. no lights or anything to get seperated and so Broli doesn\'t have to blow red lights when he\'s at the back of the pack.

Pre-Meet location for central and west end people can be co-ordinated between themselves as I do not know whats good for them.

Time will be determined by when we want to arrive at MOM as gates open by 9-10am and \"mingling\" starts around 11. The central guys and west guys will have to determine how long it will take to make it to the east end location as to make it at the desired time of arrival.

For MOM, i would say Westside pre-meet location at 7:50am. 8:10am sharp departure for Donmills/Steeles AA location, est arr. at 8:45am where central and east meet up and all cruise to elgin mills and Leslie.

Kevin the dent guy will be there around 3pm, I think KenYork would be the 1st guy to have the dent fixed:) , I\'ll be there around 4pm.

I\'ll be arriving in a stock silver Celica GT for a while before i bring in my 3.

I\'ll be a bit late.. about 3:10.

crappy though... maybe chuckie and saintjames just thought they were signing up that they were going and where they were from?
