View Full Version : Leather Seats?

I was leafing through a U.S. magazine, saw an ad for Mazda3, and in the fine print saw that our seats are only leather on the \"seat and back\" portions, all other parts are \"pleather\" or surprisingly real looking vinyl.
Have a look...a close look. I cleaned them with leather wipes and could really tell the difference.
Any thoughts? Does this aggrivate anyone else as much as it does me?:(

That\'s common. I believe that even luxurary brands do this (except for their upper end vehicles where you\'re spending lots of $).

This isn\'t a problem moving to Mazda 3 general discussion.

Both BMW and Mercedes also offer a similar type of interior (real leather in key area\'s and pleather in others) as standard, while a full leather interior is usually a couple of grand more and IMO not worth it.
The catch is the quality that the upscale brands use is much, much nicer than that used in the 3, but considering the price difference that cannot be considered a complaint/fault.
