Ok so this is what I did and the reasons why.
I bought a set of 4 Kuhmo ASX tires for $100 each (brand new and their not refurbished either). The size of the tire is 215/50 r17 91W. Know I know that the M3 Sport GT comes with 205/50 r17 and most guys who own this car only go for high performance tires.
But the reasoning is this. My wife drives the car. She goes to work and takes it for grocery shopping. Once and a while we take the car for a ride with the kids in their car seats in the back. Thus she doesn\'t need a tire to take a corner at 100km/hour or to race down a side street. Secondly, with this tire it will be a little softer ride. I checked a few tire stores who told me that the difference in diameter is minor and you probably won\'t feel it.
so did I do ok or not??
P.S. even though this is an all season tire, I still plan on using the pilot alpine winters that I have mounted on steelies!!!!
