I\'ve had the car for about 2 months. Today I noticed that on the driver seat, the lower bolstering next to the seat belt buckle had this grey spot (not black anymore). It\'s about the size of a pea.

At first I thought it was just something dirty, but upon closer inspection I find that the fabric was thinning really bad. Thats why it was grey, it had lost the black colour due to thinning. It\'s really REALLY thin and Im afraid it\'s going to rip at any moment!!!

It\'s in a really awkward spot so it isn\'t likely that I put any wear on it. This is the first time I noticed this spot. I honestly don\'t know if it\'s a manufacture defect or not..

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

P.S. Im really pissed about this situation, it shouldn\'t happen to my 2 month old car damn it.. AHHH DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE.... :( *** ANGRY SMILEY HERE ***

Joe/Jeff pls chime in. Thanks!

That\'s why I didn\'t get the cloth. It\'s very cheap. However, I didn\'t think that after 2 months it would start to fade like that.

Wasn\'t there a guy on here a while ago complaining about that very same problem? Some guy from Australia or somewhere around there.

Edit: I would think that it\'s a manufacturer\'s defect.

Could you be wearing something around your hips that would stick out and make contact in this area constantly?

Perhaps the seat is somehow defective or or you\'re wearing something that is accelerating the wear in that particular area. How many km\'s on your car (two months means nothing IMO).

I had my car for 2 years now and the seats look like the day I got the car - i dont think its a manufacturers defect but rather the way maybe you sit/rub against a certain part of the seat

pictures !

saboi and zaku had some seat probs with their rides.. so search for their threads and see if it\'s the same thing.. oh also it could be the way you sit or maybe your belt or something rubbing against the seat..

Or bring it by the dealership, let them look at it.
