I\'m looking into getting some snow tires for my 3. I know it\'s kinda early but I want to get it done.

I\'ve heard it\'s recommended that you go an inch smaller for winter tires? So if I have a sport 3 do I get 16inches? And also which tire do you guys recommend?

And also, I got a set of 16inch tires from my old Civic Si sedan, those won\'t work rite?
I\'ve only used them for ONE winter too.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I don\'t know what the bolt pattern of the Civic Si is - probably not the same as the 3.

16\" is the smallest you can go on the Sport 3.

I recommend going down to 16\" for 2 reasons:

- better traction (taller rubber = more rubber flex = good on snow/ice)
- cheaper

You just have the tires or rims/tires? Civics had 4 x 100 bolt pattern Skar. As long as the the rubber is 205/55/16 then you\'re okay.

I just have the rubber for the civic. There\'s like 90% tread left too, I gotta check wut size the tire is though.

If I plan to get steelies, then it will fit on my 3 for sure rite? As long as it\'s 16inch.

Damn I have 205-55-16 winters from my Cav, but they have 5 winters on them.

I made a mistake, my civic rims are actually only 15 inch. I thought they were 16inch since it was a Si.

Looks like i\'ll have to invest in some new steelies and rubber.
