Winters....

Ok guys and gals.... as the winter approaches and with the feedback that the RSA\'s are shiite in the winter, I guess I have no choice in the name of safety but to get winters.Here is the deal.... I have on order the Rays Versus Spada\'s in 18\'s gunmetal (OOOOOOH I cant wait to see them in real life) ....... for the summer. So the plan is the get winters put on my stock 17\'s...... SO my question, what tire and how much?

Wait until Late October / early November. That\'s when the sales are on for winter tires.

Personally, I like the Michelin Pilot Alpins.

get the best deal just before end of October - don\'t wait until November as the good stuff is sold for another season. Tires23 were good to me.

Great I will go check it out @ tires23. I was thinking about trying winter only tires. I love my current tires (toyo proxes 4 in the winter) but I want to compare them against winter only tires.

Yeah, I hope to have some prices up in the next few weeks folks. 17\" rubber can be a fair bit more. I guess we\'ll see what pricing comes! :)

Not yet probably the beginning of October. You can get them now but you\'ll be paying more.

Flipspeed, what would be the average cost of the pkg?? I in need for info to get winter tires for my new car (i\'m hopeless) since (cough cough) I\'m a gal. I would need all the help I can get like the price, whom should I get to put them on and off... what things I should watch out for when doing this. ty...

another vendor here will have packages around the $700 mark which is probably what you\'re looking to spend at the minimum anyway (unless you buy used).. give it a few more weeks and check out the group buy/for sale sections for some winter shoes..
