Hi, I just joined yesterday after many weeks of browsing the Forums.

I leased my Mazda3 Sport GT in Velocity Red back in April 2006 and have enjoyed owning and driving it ever since. I\'ve owned/leased many vehicles since my first back in 1983 and I have to tell you that I haven\'t been this excited about a car in a long time. I even wash it on an almost weekly basis which was a rarity for me in the past, I used to just take my Ford Escape through the car wash every once in a while.

I love the looks of the car both inside and out. It drives like a dream with great handling and good throtle response. I enjoy the fuel economy as well compared to mostly V6s and V8s I\'ve had in the past.

Overall I would rate this car a 9 out of 10. The only complaints I would make are the fact that it doesn\'t come with an iPod interface and the AC is a little weak. Other than that I wouldn\'t change a thing.

This is my first \"import\" vehicle and so far I\'m impressed with the quality.

Only time will tell however I\'m optomistic about this car.

Thanks for the welcome.

I read yesterday that indeed Mazda, Ford and GM will include iPod intefaces on most of their cars beginning with the 2007 model year. I just wish they had started in 2006.

I\'ve already spoken with Jeff from Lockdown with regards to the NEO Ion for $199.99 plus taxes installed, hopefully in a couple of weeks I\'ll hook up with him.

Welcome aboard.

I hate the fact that had I waited for two years, I could have got a whole crapload of extra features that my '05 didn't have.

On the other hand, my old car was a death trap that wouldn't drive a straight line at anything over 130, so I'm glad I got what I did, when I did.

I just wonder what the new 3's going to be like since you just know it's coming down the pipe soon.

Someone trying to boost their post count, perhaps?

It's amazing that I never even looked after it showed up as new.

Still, since the original guy only made 5 posts, I wonder if he's unhappy with the car, or the forum.

Hey wingnut,
I'm definetly not unhappy with the car, as a matter of fact I still love it. The reason for the small amount of posts is due to the lack of time to even visit the forum. That and the forum was down for so long just after I joined late last year.
Take care and thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
