%$#@! I scratched my front passenger rim today, as I was parking. Only had the car 12 weeks and I got my first scratched rim :'(

Sorry, just had to vent

Well look at it this way, at least now it's done and you won't have to worry anymore. It happens, just keep enjoying your car!

Now that there's severe structural damage (for the wife or the s/o), I guess that means you'll have to find some nice aftermarket replacements. ;)

Yeah that sucks. The stock 17's don't have a lot of rubber sidewall protecting them. I'm extra careful when parking beside a curb.

Whos Ur Daddy is right. I'd milk this for all it's worth. You need something of "pain and suffering." After market rims is the only cure.

Ya don't feel too bad. At the kennedy commons tim hortons, I parked beside the curb and decided to go offroad on to the curb in the parking lot. (I was standing on the damb curb smoking for a good 10mins before I even got in my car) /sigh
To make matters worse a few kids were complimenting me on the drop of the car and what not and they saw the whole incident! lol
Minor rim chip, 2 skirt clips of the skirt broke (easily fixed), middle of under the side skirt has a beatiful chunk of paint missing and a few deep scratch lines.

That sucks man. My rims came pre-scratched.

if they were used i can understand but if new i would demand a refund asap. (P.S u can get your rim refinished for anywhere between 90-150$ each u should look in to it)
