View Full Version : Rim opinions!
I'm not getting rims for quite a while yet (hopefully by mid next summer) but these are the tims I'm thinking of. 18" ASA JH8 Black.
What do you think?

I personally don't think they suit the car. If it were a G35C and a staggered fitment then sure, but on a Mazda3 I think they look out of place. Also, rims that curve in like that and have a large lip generally look a lot smaller then they actually are. I've seen countless members with 18's on their 3 and they look smaller than the factory 17's.

I have been told that. The thing is that I'm a HUGE fan of the machined lip. If the spokes didn't stick out like that it wouldn't look as small. I'm aiming for black spokes with a machined lip. Gunmetal is out of the question as well as chrome. Its either painted spokes or painted rim (not necessarily black).
anyone else....
I think they look good.
I say if you want them - then get them. ;D

i dont mind them!
i think they will dissapear into ur car, but hey thats ok, stealth is sexy!
i am sure u will go thru 10 different choices b4 u pick!
lol
lips are sexy!!
who cares if the rim looks a bit smaller, it still looks big in motion, and honestly , they still look big on the car
people know, if there is a lip they are one size bigger than they seem!
