Can anyone confirm if the stock Mazda5 17"'s will fit a Mazda3? I'm pretty sure they do, just wanted to see if anyone has seen or tired it? Anyone seen any pics of what it would look like?
Thanks

According to Mazda.ca, the Mazda5 is running 205/55R16 all-season tires (GS) with 16" rims and /205/50R17 all-season tires (GT) with 17" rims. These are the same tire and rim package we're running on the Mazda3. More here including a photo-chop picture.

Thanks all for the replies.
I took a look at the pics from the mazda3forums post. Very similiar to the stock wheels, but a little different I guess. I wonder if the Toyo Proxes A18's are better or worse than the RSA's for wet and dry traction?

They are about the same but I would opt for the Toyo's over the RSA's.

I installed a set of 1998 Mazda MPV 15 inch Aluminum Wheels, 40 offset on my 2006 M3 GS as my winter tire and wheels and it fits perfectly inside the wheel wells. No rubbing issues at all. Although the wheels look old (no center cap) at least I am not using an old rusted steelies.
Just sharing my experience.

I bought a set of Mazda 5 rims off a friend and took the factory Toyo's to replace the crappy factory RSA's. I have to say the Toyo's are better compare to the RSA's.
Back to the topic YES the Mazda 5 fits our 3 perfectly.

I agree.
Of course, I think just about anything would look better than the snowflakes. Can't imagine WTF Mazda was thinking when they replaced the nice 5-spokes of years past with those things!!
