View Full Version : Clear Rims
Now I know y'all gonna dig this;
"Clear D'Vinci Forgiato Radurra wheels. They're two inch thick polycarbonate, and are available in 20, 22 and 24 inch sizes for around $2k each."

They forgot to include cost of fancy lookin' rotors and calipers to go with the rims. Hurray for useless bling!
Now, how much do they weigh?

That looks absolutely stupid. Totally impractical. I can only imagine how dirty they look after a day of driving.

it is cool to see something that is so stupid and stange at the same time!
i would like to see it in motion, and i would say they would be ok on a pure show car!
but they are retarded for regular use!
Las Vegas SEMA showed otherwise on popularity of these rims ::)

heh. Those would be wicked for showing off a nice brake kit. :D
Wonder what they would weigh in a 17 or 18" size?

Yup.
Problem with those is that you've got no way of adjusting the pressure for different driving conditions and they likely weigh more than regular tires. Not sure the trade-off is worth it for the elimination of punctures and pressure maintenance.

not to mention you'll need a new tweel (right?) once it wears out..
Hey at least those clear wheels are cheaper than LED ones.
