Same thing happened to me last week when I was going to put the winters and I ended up puting the Muteki tuner lugs I had on my summer set up.

So far everything is good, don't tight them to much b/c the shape of the tuner lugs is different to the stock ones so they can ruin the holes in the steelies and cause problems down the road.

I think you should double check your tuner lugs in you use them on steelies.

I believe steel wheels have a slight crater or cup when looking from the front of the wheel. Lugs are conical in shape apply pressure evenly to fill the cup.

If you use tuner lugs, the apparently have a flat surface meant to snug down on a flat surface. What you are doing is kinda snugging down 90 degree angle into a cup shape surface.

Does that make any sense?

How about trying to put a cylinder through a funnel sized shape.

Here is a pic of the stock lug nuts and below a pic of the tuner lug nuts I got(mines are black), I don't see much of a difference between the shape of both (the tuner lugs seems to have the same conical shape like the stock ones) so I assume that I won't have any problem using them in the steelies.

Looks like you should be ok.
