I can hear a buzz with the engine off, keys out even with the doors locked. Is it normal? I'm afraid my battery is going to die on cold weather... It comes aprox from the center of the engine bay, not exactly sure from where.

if it's immediately after you've shut off the car and got out, it is the electronic throttle body servo motor. it remains 'powered' for some time after you shut off the car.

If the weather wasn't so cold, it could possibly be your cars automatic fan to cool the engine, but probably not the case here.

MajBlue, nice post.

The first time I heard the buzzing sound was a few months in my garage. I popped open the hood and found the sound coming from the throttle body, so I just assumed that it was the servo motor.

Anyone know why it stays on for a bit after the car turns off?

No one knows?

apparently there's more to it than just the servo on the ETB, which also explains the 'poof' sound

this is the second thread i answer to this question

the noise is the fuel pump taking all the fuel witch is under pressure in the fuel rail and takes-it back to the gas tank and a few sec later 2 injecors will fire to clear any remaing pressure from the fuel rail

if the car is off there is no need to be a pressure in the pipes, fuel rails etc its more likele a safetly feature to prolong the life of the fuel system

Anyway, I have to go to MoT for my servo pump and I'll show them where it's coming from. Maybe they have an answer...

The servo motor/pump is on the passenger side in the front corner (I know because I have to change it) so it's not that. It wasn't any fan, it sounded more like a small electrical motor or something.

What's a servo pump?
