Pirelli Winter Carving Tires (brief review)

FINALLY I got a chance to test these babies out in some crappy weather. On the dry they are amazing and in the weather we had this morning (snow/freezing rain) they were simply awesome. Grip from a standstill is very good and cornering is pretty good (although this car is heavier than my last one, so it isn't as good as the other one was). I'm very happy with them. Recommeded for sure.

On a side note, I intentionally tested out my anti-lock brakes too, since I've never used them before. heh...

I had no issues at all this morning either. Blizzak WS-50's. Love 'em!!! Up and down hills... corners... accelerating... braking... absolutely love 'em!

I was also impressed by the discipline of everyone on the roads this morning! Everyone seemed so well behaved, leaving lots of room and allowing people space to change lanes and stuff.

If only they could drive like that on nicer days!

Off topic alert: Yeah, people were disciplined but 28km/h from Green Lane to Steeles on the 404...

Whole thing looked like a parking lot.. can we please find a happy medium, were people late for work, get there on time, and SUVs that think they are invincible end up in the ditch (unharmed)

BTW... the Hankook W300 are okay... prefer the Vikings I put on my wife's car.
