My Observations on Driving into Work Today:

1. Asshats and Farktards seem to dominate the roads during this type of weather.
2. My high blood pressure medication needs to be stronger.
3. People actually believe that because you drive and S.U.V. you can go faster and stop quicker.
4. Cars that have hot women in them should have an identifying marker so that they are easier to spot.
5. People who have all season tires and insist on spinning them to get better traction should be forced to have a bumper sticker that reads "As a matter of fact I am retarded."

Interesting. I found my drive in this morning to be entirely the opposite and found everyone to be very well behaved.

I wonder if it's because I left early. Maybe I drove in with everyone else who had the common sense to leave early and drive responsibly rather than those who left on time and then tried to make up for the slowness with their idiocy. :)

Yup, my drive in was very good also. I didn't see a single car in the ditch or any accidents of any kind. Everyone (for the most part) were taking it easy. It was nice to finally put the snow tires to use again, but I'm already sick of this weather.

Come on Spring!

^ LOL

my drive was slow but good, there was one farktard who decided to pull out in front of me and slide all over the farking place . . . but he got ctrl back, and was going slow so it all worked out.

Today was the only day i didn't hear anyone honking outside my window, and everyone seemed to be driving slow. Quite the opposite of a usual day in the dry.

(my window overlooks humber college blvd, right by the school)

I got lucky, got out onto the 407, and found two snow plows ahead of me, had them lead the way for me, and the many many people behind me.

Waiting to pull into my office parking garage at Yonge/York Mills, I was watching the GO buses come out from the terminal and try to head north on Yonge ... LOL buses doing burn-outs!!!!

heh. For years I took the York Mills bus eastbound from there and every year there'd be a day where the buses couldn't get up the hill there and would back up traffic completely. Fun stuff!

during a 20 minute drive up yonge street and while waiting for the bus I saw about 6 cars fly right by a red light even though they clearly couldn't make it.. now that's safe driving for yah..

Saw a 350Z struggle to maintain grip on the snow/slush-covered road earlier in the day trying to head north on Yonge, north of York Mills ... :-S

Those red-light runners must have thought they'd fly through the intersection anyway if they tried to brake.

considering its been a year (minus a day or 2) since my accident last year, and the conditions out there today mimmicked almost to a T of last year....
the drive in wasn't pleasant...

My car got snowed in, and incased in a sheet of ice. Had to walk to work, lucky for me, work is only 4 blocks away. LOL.

Must have taken you 4 hours and a lot of slush splashes before you got into work? :D

Surprisingly, NO. There was hardly anyone on the road, and the snow hadn't melted. Not sure about the walk home thou. :(

Nordic Icetracs worked like gold today. Got some good sliding in the parking lot with plenty of grip to pull me clean and straight when I wanted.

My snow brush was trapped in my trunk, that idea of giving the 07 the handle for the trunk was a good one. =P

lucky i took the extra time to take dads car back out to the driveway last night so i can put my car back inside. So happy my car is not filled and covered with ice/snow.
The vikings i have worked great and well spent $550 on my car.
Also had to take the TL to service today and seriously traction control/ABS is the best option you can ever have in a car.
