Driver side wiper gone limp.

After work, I wanted to clear the ice and snow from the car. And not noticing the thin sheet of ice on the windshield, I activated the wipers. The passenger side wiped, but the driver side just stayed there, apparently I hadn't counted on a build up of ice at the trough of the windshield holding it down tight. Doh!

Now the driver side wiper goes limp every time I try to use it, it just moves a tiny bit. And I can see that it's not as tightly down as the passenger side when I try to move it manually. Hopefully there's like a servo saver and that I didn't do any damage to the motor.

Any ideas? looks like I need to tighten it down.

Now that the ice and snow is here, probably wise to turn the auto wipers off for those that have the feature. No need ripping something up for no good reason.

Best to lift the blades off the windshield so that they won't stick to the glass. Kust in case you froget that the wipers are on auto mod.
