AT 1st to 2nd hard shift

I noticed that sometimes in the cold , accelerating slowing it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. This happens sometimes. So you know when i take to the dealer it won't happen. Does this happen to anyone else?

Hey steve, is this at start up? or even when the car is warmed up?
Did you get your car's tranny flashed?

I had the transmission flashed and the problem went away for a while. I am now finding it is occurring again. Going to mention it next time I have the car in for service.

Yeah pearly, it happens when the car is cold. The Car sits about five days a week in the garage. The wife used it yesterday and she said it felt like it jerked. I used it this morning and it did it about 3 times for the first five mins but after that it seemed fine.

Yep looks like MOT will be seeing me soon about this and TSB.

I had the exact same problem before, I got my trans. oil flushed, also they did some re-program thing on the computer chip, now guess what, 1st to 2nd gear jerkiness is gone, but the problem is now occuring when it goes from 2nd gear to 3rd gear!!! I can't believe this, looks like I'm going back to the service dept. again...
