I can't believe that guy's still in business and hasn't been shut down for fraud. I mean, it's been quite some time now since they showed he's selling counterfeit stuff and he's been pretty open about the fact that he doesn't give a rat's ass about it.

Sue for defamation in the U.S. - maybe, but in the U.S. burden of proof of libel/slander more heavily weighs on the plantiff than the defendant (compared to Europe) and in this case, Adam would be up sh!t creeek w/o a paddle.

I disagree........... ETF is almost always called out for situations like this, and this situation was no exception. Remember, this is not the first time that this punk-ass became agressive towards Silverman. It has happened before, although no physical injury was involved.
His "watch it sonny" line is classic.

Hahaha, my friend lives in the DNA condo across the street from the store, and the kicker is that he got his glasses from the guy. I asked him about the guy and he said he seemed normal, the only weird thing was when he was buying the glasses, the topic of my friend getting married came up, and the Plimmer dude recommended this shady limo service for the wedding. Lucky my friend didn't take his advice

Did your friend buy name-brand glasses? If he did, then he likely got ripped off. :) The whole thing started because Silverman exposed that the guy sells cheap knock-off's and does illegal and unauthorized eye exams.

I think he did. Think he spent like $700 on them, but not completely sure. The good thing is that he got his eye exam from somewhere else

I don't get why they haven't gone in and cleaned out this guy's store the same way! At least at Pacific Mall, the people buying the stuff know it's fake, for the most part, and they buy it for counterfeit prices.
This guy is stealing from people and on top of that, he's messing with their health, performing illegal exams!

Right. You know they're fake, they know they're fake, and you get what you pay for.
The problem with this idiot is that he's charging you for the genuine article and you're getting a cheap fake without knowing it.
Actually, I checked up on what I bought because I honestly thought they were fake. As it turns out the pair I bought was legit. I included pictures and the numbers on the D&G frames. I emailed Dolce and Gabbana to see if these glasses were real (cause I wanted to know if I got conterfeits). After a lengthy delay (maybe because I don't speak italian) I got a reply saying that these glasses were indeed real, the certificate I got with the pair also turned out to be authentic D&G. I was surprised, but man am I happy cause I got a wicked deal!!! :D
