Damn this stupid passenger side retention clip..

don't know why but by luck got the driver side fine...

so go onto the passenger side and no matter what a try (screw driver various sizes, needle nose pliers)

it will not engage properly...and to add insult, broke this free bulb I got from a friend of mine....

so I was forced to put back an OEM on the passenger and the driver has the aftermarket bulb.

Tired of this crap, did everything and anything, even the OEM bulb did not install properly.....

I need a shop or a westside memeber to do this for me....hands hurt, really really hurt...OWWWWW!!!!! Will pay cause I am sick of it...

damn you Mazda and imports in general with this shit as clip design!!!!!!!

note: its a 2006 Mazda3 hatch

I actually wanted to break that thing in half...

but as i guess a trade off, i broke the bulb!

I just replaced my buddies halogen lows with PIAA blue ones....my figure tips feel like there going to fall off. So numb and in pain. Push then down...okay then it should be back and up? NO FACKING way man, that was at least a 30min battle total for both sides.

Ah yes, I remember te passenger side clip being a b!tch! It's all about the damn angle and brute force.

Ask Devin98 about the retention clip on my car. It took AGES to get it right when he installed my HIDS. Driver side? 5 mins tops. Passenger side? Half hour, at least. Not counting the breaks he had to take because his hand was killing him.

azn, do you have an '06 by chance?

It's total JUNK! I kept clipping to the outter plastic ring but I knew that wasn't it. I left the passenger (worst of the two) and headed to the drivers and look and memorized how it came out. I think I got more confused. By guess and by god I got both to catch. When I install my prolumen's next month, I'm just going to lose it since I know what i'm in for.
