I personally don't expect much from the Canadian International Auto Show.
They need to make it more of a "show" than just a gathering of auto makers.
By this I mean way more concept cars (and don't re-use concepts from last year), more interaction, better presentations all to give it a "wow" effect.
It's almost like a giant car dealer with cars I can see by going to various dealers myself.

that's why i don't go anymore.. i think the same SLR has been there for the past 3-4 yrs? gimme a break.. once i'm in the market for a car i might go just to see what's out there but the internet is free (pay for it anyway) and i don't have to compete with the mofos out there on the floor..

and you still can't sit in the 'nicer' models and the hordes of people and kids running around make you just want to strangle them ;)

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed by the fact that they didn't bring a colour we haven't all seen already, but the Mazda people were very helpful and friendly.

Having gone to the Detroit show this year, there really wasn't anything new to see. I think the real value of the Toronto show is for people actually shopping for a new car. Sure, you can go to dealerships to see them, but this way you get to see everything all in once place, including things like the Altima Coupe that you can't see in dealers just yet. If you're planning to buy something in the next year, it's a great way to check out all your options without missing anything.

One thing that really pissed me off is the Suzuki "wrc rally" car. The thing was a stock suzuki, with 'discs' that covered the stock brakes, mounted non-funtional intercooler, 1" exhaust until the muffler and 3" exhaust from there on, NO roll cage. I was stocked/excited to think they actually brought the Suzuki WRC to canada, but upon closer inspection,,......we got skunked!

yes the 350z and the g35 are the same car but just think u can get the new altima coupe with the same 3.5L engine just a little bit detuned

looks that i think take the best features of both cars
and the great thing about it is that it is at $10,000 less than both
