I shipped it via Searail and it was close to $800!! And thats not including p/u and delivery. My job is reimbursing me my moving expenses. Yeah I know I could of driven but the idea of driving through the Canadian shield this time of year isn't my thing.

It is a relocation package which is part of my employment at Sunnybrook hospital as a MRT . All they ask is a minimum of 1 yr. I hope to stay longer of course....moving cross country is a PITA.

Well my car is suppose to show up friday....the sooner the better, as I'm getting tired of my dodge calibre rental. Everyone at work is blaming me for the cold weather today (Guess I bought it with me :blush)

Do you need certification for that? Sounds like you're a x-ray operator.
I was looking at changing careers and MRI machine operator needs like a whole freaking diploma and certification.

Well in Manitoba it is a 3 yr program. 1st yr is what we call university 1(basic sciences ie: chem, physics, stats, anatomy and physiology, etc) then 1 yr didactic @ the college then 1 yr clinical rotation at a hospital. If you want to do MRI it is another 9 months on top of that.
I think( thouh I might be wrong) in Ontario, x-ray is a degree program 4 yrs and then you do MRI.
