To be honest, Dont know.
I was comming from that hill you see on the backgound, back tires slid as I came of the corner. I am mad right now for getting on a wreck and not even speeding or APEX...

That giant wing wasn't providing enough downforce.
One less ricer on the road, a million to go.

Dibs!

3sActice, any word from insurance yet? Will there be two hatches in the driveway? One much faster than the other?

active3s
03-05-2007, 11:54 AM
Another Hatch. No, one is enough. I still want a sedan and upgrade it to turbo. I will still pay about the same in the long run, except that it will not have factory warranty once this is done!!

Sorry to hear and glad that you're okay. What did you hit exactly to cause that damage?

active3s
03-05-2007, 04:45 PM
Slid out off the road and hit a tree after turning a 140 Degree turn and smacking the rear left first

I hate to say this, but it looks like this was the problem. From your pics, it looks like you were driving on summer tires, correct? The temperature had to be lower than 0C, so the summer tires were probably hard as stones and had little to no traction.

Alright. the insurance says that the car has been classified as totalled. $17456 for repairs. I have no option but to get another sedan( ALready called the dealer might pick up this afternoon. I have a body kit on the way that I was going to install on the red one so I guess I will put it on on the 2007. Hope fits!! Yes I made up my mind and contacted the dealer. Getting another 3 Sedan but Touring trim. I got to salvage all my aftermarket parts to include the Vibrant exhaust all the way to the MAZDASPEED shifter. Hell is not much i have to get for the new one. But again, I hope it fits. The wife already trying to get me into installing the exhaust on her HB. Just mught need to cut and reweld the end. I was glad when the shop told me I can replace anything as longest I put back its stock items in its place.

Now, mu question is, how long to wait to install this goodies on the new one. Should I just smack them on or wait for the 3000 brake in? Does it matter?I think not, should addjust with the type of in and out placed for it but hey, you guys are the experts, let me know

3GFX

This is excellent news man!!! Congrats on the purchase!!!

Your lucky to have a wife that actually wants to put an exhaust on her car!

If I were you, I'd wait until the break in is done to add the parts. I think its a safe call for the engine and car to be broken in. Look at it this way, you'll be used to the stock 2007. Then you throw all your mods on at once and BOOM whole new car. You can do a stock dyno pull and then after all you mods, it'd be pretty cool.

Love the new one man! I hope its a 5 spd, and you gotta get some tint on those windows. Sould just put the vibrant on the new one after 3000km if you haven't put it on the HB yet.

Well, it was due anyway. Plus, it gots its advantages to be a Sr Chairmen. Not everybody was there that day. We where still short the speed3 and the P5. Did you notice the 2 oddballs. a 350z and a GranPrix GT(superchaged)
