Drove my buddies 2002 Mustang GT, but the thing that drove me nuts was the racing clutch in it. Man that thing was so heavy my leg was shaking trying to hold it down at stop lights, had to put it in neutral. It pretty cool when shifting cuz the increased clamping load grabs like crazy. Anybody else driven something with a racing or sport clutch? I'm just wondering if they are all like that.

Other mods on the car: Headers, magnaflow exhaust, intake, chipped, lowered suspension, 11 inch tires on the back (and they still didn't grab the road lol).

I've never driven something with that kinda power before. It was really quite something to have that power under your foot. I could never own one though, as it cost him over $100 to drive from London to Peterborough.

I've driven several and owned a few (including a Mustang) with racing/sports clutchs and it does take some getting use to.

Depends a lot on the car, and the clutch. If your putting down some SERIOUS power, and have a heavy duty clutch, its not the best for a daily driver lol.

My old car was a V6 with about 260ish WHP. Racing clutch, and was very very streetable. Nearly the same as stock :)

I generally find Japanese cars have the easiest clutch to handle, while cars like BMW and Porsch is like a workout for your leg.

Learned how to drive 5 spd. on my uncle's 5.0 Stang. Full Salleen upgrades and a leg killer clutch.

I have a Mazdaspeed clutch in my car. It was very light when first installed, but then it got a lot heavier over time.

The newer BMW's aren't too bad. Drove the 330ci a few years ago at the BMW course, and man that thing was fun to rip around in.

But I saw the new 335i on Motorweek last night. 300hp Twin Turbo!!!! I think i'd take one of those over an m3.

EDIT: by m3 I meant BMW m3
