They are speaking Portuguese and luckily I understand it. They never said anything about a hippo in there. They are basically saying they are trying to help the snake regurgitate what it ate as it is not normal

That's a Green Anaconda. I used to have one of those. As well as it's sibling the Yellow and the Yellow/Green cross. However I had to downsize my collection due to space and budget restrictions.

i don't think its a hippo, unless it was a new born...but anaconda's are crazy...i've seen them swallow a human whole.

Well I just had some more people translate this.

They are first saying the snake is 6 feet long. They said they thought it was a alligator at first but then they saw it was a snake. The snake was unable to move as it was so heavy and it was trying to defend it's self from the people around. They said the snake swallowed an alligator and how is an animal this evil allowed to live? Then they say throw water on it and the sound cuts out.

Weird thing is you see something else come out of it so I dunno.

Hippos are pretty dangerous themselves and are often underestimated. Video looks fake , maybe its just me.

Video seems authentic, its definitely not a hippo, no hippos in South America and no Anacondas in Africa, hard to say what it is really!

Its amazing what anacondas can do, how they manage to digest something that large, must take days!
