HU doesnt come on

Weirdest thing happened yesterday

I had my car in the garage so it was actually colder in there than it was outside
When I took my car outside everything steamed up because of the temperature difference; I start driving the car... then all of a sudden the HU flickers off and then on. HELLO! pops up for a couple of seconds, blinks a couple of times then goes off. This happened for the next few hours till it totally stopped working and nothing was on the display and it didnt illuminate either. No clock either.

Last night it started working again
I have no idea what caused this
Could it have been condensation from the drastic temperature change? Created some short?

just take apart the dash (takes about 3 minutes) and make sure everything is plugged in tight.

Most likely the problem.
