View Full Version : Replacing undercarriage fibreglass shield...thing?

Long story short, was in an accident and other then the bumper being dented (going to try and sort that out), the front passenger-side panel of the fibreglass protection underneath the car (the black shield thing) was damaged...it's still in place but there are some small gaps and only 2 of the 5 + screws on that particular panel are still properly in place.

Anyone have any idea what it will cost to get a replacement?

Guess I've gotta call around tomorrow....assuming it shouldn't be TOO much because it's just a matte black piece of fiberglass.

I think it's plastic, not fibreglass. Not that this fact makes any difference. ;)

why replace it??? Just throw in a couple screws. Or just take it off all together....

drill a hole in the shield and use zip ties.. so much easier to remove when changing oil.. what a dumb design :whoa
