Experience a lap of the famous Nurburgring
You’ve scene plenty of spy pictures and video clips from the legendary Nurburgring Nordscheife, now see Auto Express Roadtester Owen Mildenhall complete a lap in a Mazda 3MPS

Ah!! So the tires DO squeal if you push them hard enough! I've been wondering about that!

I figure I just haven't pushed them hard enough. :)

Man... there's just no catching that STI in the second half of the lap eh? :chuckle

"motorcycles are much slower during cornering than cars" ... I never knew that (actually never really thought about it).

There are a couple of possibilities
1. I doubt that they were still on the Bridgestones, because these bastids wear quickly!
2. The track surface is a lot grippier than what we have on the streets here
(this is also true for German highways)

Yep. 4 tires is a lot more stable than 2, so even with the lack of weight, they still can't hold a corner quite as well.

This is how the Porsche managed to beat the sport bike around the Top Gear test track. :bana

I hated the endurance races. They bored me so I just let the auto-driver do them for me.

Given you pay $20 CND to go to a test and tune night for a few runs, 10 min of track time is pretty reasonable given you'd pay 200-300 for a track day normally... i'd love to be able to go for a lap or two a weekend for 20-40 rather than one track day a year for $300
