Will E36/E39 Angel Eyes fit?

Quick question to those who've got angel eyes. I've got hold of a set of eyes from a BMW E39/E36. (They are 5 1/8" OD)

I'm wondering if they will fit the housing properly. What is the diameter of your Mazda 3 angel eyes?

low beam is CCFL-F
As far as I can gather from my kit and those pictures.

Maybe the ballasts will be better off those BMW ones... might be something to keep in mind.

Gizzmo, that was a good site! I put the eyes against the car when I got home, they wouldn't even fit in the headlamp housing!!!!

Kinda bummed, its a nice kit and the rings are quite white. I might take them apart because it looks like the inside is the same type of wire as the 'thinlines' so I might still have some luck.

So if anyone wants E39/E36 rings let me know, I cna't use em :p
