Stall? CEL Blinking? Gas Pedal No Response?

So Saturday night, after watch Shrek3 with my friends in Metrotown, i was on the way to one of my friend's house to drop him off, A/C on, at the red light, i simple keep my foot on the brakes, and was talking to my friend, my car's RPM ususally slowly drops to 0.5 on the RPM gauge, and it would shiver repeatly, but today, i didnt feel much, until it was green, i put force down on the gas pedal, NO RESPONSE? and all the lights in the gauges were on, encluding a Engine looking light blinking.. so i tried to gas again but it still didnt work, i had to turn the key to OFF, then start the car again, to have it going again.. now this has happened once before, and the sympton at the first time it happened was shivering.. and odd acceleration jerks.. anyone have any idea whats going on here? could this be a stall due to RPM being too low?

btw do u have CIA

if u do have a cai check your wires on the mass air sensor sometimes they get pulled out
