How big are the bars you get in the box when you buy the Mothers kit?

they are 83ml....so about 2.8 ounces!
considering the mothers kit comes with detailer and paint cleaning stuff, and costs $25...as we all know the clay is only good for so long, and the detailer and stuff will outlast the clay...so if you need new clay, thats another liek $25!!!
it works out to be a better deal IMO!

My clay has lasted for years now. I wrap it in plastic wrap when I'm done, and it hasn't failed me yet.
But I generally already have detailer so the $25 for the "kit" seems like a waste to me.

I don't use it very often. Maybe once a year. I thought you meant they dry out or something.

ooooooooh, gotcha!!!
i do my car twice a year, once in spring, and once in fall wiht clay, plus ill do the odd other car along in a year...so i guess i go thru a bit.
Retail clay that you buy in stores should only be used annually, or semi annually, as its a bit more abrasive, but Sonus came out with a milder formula of clay that you can use more often if you wish to clay more often.

I wish to clay less often. I f**'n hate doing it. :) Maybe I'm too detail oriented, but it takes me many hours...

WTF? I wonder if we're doing the same thing... somehow I doubt it.
It took me over a couple hours just to clay the bugs off the front bumper and mirrors a week or so ago.
