View Full Version : Just want to make sure this set up run fine or not?
OK. here is the question. I am running Tein Stech springs. And thinking to get a set of 17X7 42 offset rims. So should I go with 215/45/17 or 225/45/17? And am I going to rub with this set up? Anyone know the answer please reply thanks alot.

I think you should be fine with either or, but to be on the safe side, 215/45/17 rubbers should be the better/safer option to prevent any rubbing

You don't need 225 on x7 rims

i was about to get 225/45/17 tires, then i saw them at a tire shop and i was like "how the hell the mz3 engine can pull these tires" . they are just too fat
225 might be a little wide for a 7" rim, you don't want a mushroom look where the tire sticks to far out over the rim. 215 is better, and you'll have much less chance of rubbing.
