Spy photos never give an upcoming car justice. Manufacturers always make up hybrids like that to fool photographers.

As usual it\'s too tough to get a real idea of what it will look like, but hopefully they\'ll do a good job. I still think the Mazda6 is a very handsome car.

The next one should be really hot. Apparently it\'s gonna have the new V6 motor. This time I think Toyota and Honda will have some serious competition.

the front reminds of the Lexus and Toyota designs and the rear end of a Peugeot 406

personally i preffer the current mazda6. the new one looks all grown up, but bigger. Also as if the car gave up its ZoomZoom.

The current style Mazda 6 has been around since 03 only minor changes to the headlamps and bumpers. It was definately time for a drastic change.

Keep in mind those are artist renderings and not official pics. I think the new shape will bring more mid size sedan customers back to Mazda.

from sales perspection the design is very good, it is stylish and has the "family-friendly" agression. The car also looks bigger which is will definately help in sales as current mazda 6 is smaller then its competitors which hurts the sales in north america.

one thing that i personally dont like is that the rear end is lifter very high up, for me it makes me feel like i'm driving a mini-van.
second: the cars surves lost the agreesion that current models have, but then i'm very picky when it comes to the car having a sporty look.

Looks like an Acura....

The problem is the Mazda 6 is overpriced. If you shop around, there are lots of cars cheaper and better for the price.
Like the Saturn Aura. $25K... I checked it out....Much nicer car hands down.
They might have redesigned it....but they have better lowered the price...who wants a four-banger for $25K+!!!
