okay so i'm new to the headlights and stuff and i was reading the "how to install angel eyes" post....i'm jus wondering if thats the only way to get angel eyes? installing them on the original headlights that I have.....or is it possible to go out and buy new sets of headlights with angel eyes (my headlights are the OEM ones) ?? Is either way of doing it better? =S

You have to install them yourself. I don't know of anyone or any place that sells headlight capsules with angle eyes installed.
Even if they did, it would cost more than the $200 that Lockdown charges for the installation.

i think its $200 bucks including the angel eyes. Call Jeff at Lockdown to make sure.

Last time when I checked it was $200, not including the angel eyes. You have to provide those yourself.
I think $200 is a reasonable price and they'll do a nice clean job given their experience.

IMO, HID would make the angel eyes seem like its not there, I would disable DRL and just have the angel eyes during the day. For night, angel eyes with HID fog lights will look sick :chuckle

LOL. You'd probably want to keep your low-beams on during the night. HID fog lights are purely for show and do not project any better than the stocks.

LOL. I do not mind lending a hand from a distance (i.e. answering questions through PM), but I rather not go through the process again. It's quite a PITA.

Maybe try contacting our new sponsor, Selective sound (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=197)
it looks like they mostly do audio stuff, but you never know, wiring is wiring :)

Devin said he don't have any angel eyes in stock until the next batch comes...so I guess i still got time to contact Concepts on Wheels and hopefully find a place to install em for me for a price within 200-250 haha
HI All
I been interested in getting Angel Lights on my car, not sure if I want to do it myself, has anyone found a place that would do it since Lockdown doesn't provide the service.

^^ agreed, the degree of difficulty for this modification is quite high. its a long and tedious process. if you have the cash laying around, grab a set of used headlights off of ebay and use those for your install, as apposed to mucking up your origionals.
I was thinking of doing myself but not sure too comfy with that, may screw it up. I was also thinking of what Bubba said, but that may be costly. That why I rather pay someone.

i picked up a used set for $200 all in off ebay
So Bubba, what did you do with the original headlights, did you end up selling them
