Huh? I don't want to start any sort of political debate here... but why wouldn't you support the troops? They're putting their lives on the line for us. If they didn't... who would?

Now if you don't support the current mission in Afghanistan or some other aspects of the government's deployment of the troops then I would totally understand that... but you gotta support the troops themselves! They're just doing what they're told.

If anything a canadian presence in afghanistan endagers us as canadians.

So i should support Troops just because they are canadian and hope that they kill afghanis? doesn't sound right to me! The job of troops is to fight and possibly die. why should i hope they live before an afghani person in a war that i deem unjust?

They are not putting their lives on the line for us, we are not safe because they are there, they put their lives on the liine for nothing but furthering american foriegn policy - so for NOTHING.

I do not want to see troops die! i would love to see them all safe and alive back home. but if they are to remain there . . . I am indifferent to the status of their mortality.

Now in a just war, i would gladly support our troops, and if the reasons were right i would personally fight.

Doing what they are told to do - this is not a valid point.

If i ordered you to kill someone and you did it. Yeah i am the bigger *******, however you would also be an *******. follow ur own mind, do what is right.
