Hey guys, i'm hoping Jeff will call me any time now with a VIN for my new GT, but in the meanwhile, I've spent the better part of my day removing my sub/amp/deck, and returning the car autio to stock. The one thing I can't seem to figure out is how to get my dash off.

I was present when an ex-colleague of mine took everything off to install the new deck, but I can't seem to get the passenger side of the dash off to insert the Delco deck back in.

I know i've read that there are quite a few ex-J-Body guys around, is anyone able to help me out? I'm in the west-end (Mississauga), although I can meet up at a Tim Hortons or something?

*Delirious laughter*
So it turns out there are two hidden bolts in the glove-box that I had missed after a few hours of struggling with the dash. Carry on.

LOL I was just about to post. Those are the elusive brass bolts I believe.

He didn't even mention if it's a Cavalier or Sunfire. :chuckle

Good to hear it all worked out though. :)

Does EVERYBODY except me know about these bolts? Everyone i've asked after this ordeal said "what about those brass bolts?".

*checks himself into the funny farm* :loco

If I'm not mistaken, those are machine screws meant to hold things in place when the airbags go off, so make sure you put them back where you found them when you're done. :)
