Hello,

I was with Toronto Prelude Club (TPC) to pariticipate in Ian Law's Racing School the past weekend and think that is an awesome experience on two levels, fun and learning. (www.carcontrolschool.com) We took the course at Mosport's Driver Development track.

Going with TPC cost me $260. So I'd say that is going to be around how much it will be. I'll follow TPC and also have Lappers go on the track while the students are in class. Just a one day thing. Likely from 8am to 5 pm

For the safety of others, Lappers must have some sort of Track School Certificate.

edit: depending on interest level I'll be posting this on TOP and TM6 as well. Everyone is welcome to attend.

currently, we got 3 options:

1) host our own School/lapping day
2) Join another club's event (TPC MIGHT be hosting one later on in OCT)
3) Join Ian directly, although I heard that it might not be fun depending on which group of ppl Ian is teaching during that event.

I would be interested, but is this a one day event or a weekend or what? Timing would be a challenge for me.

Not too sure what "TPC" is, so could you elaborate on what kind of a track it is and what exactly does the school offer?

Otherwise, consider me interested.

In short, it'll teach you how to drive around the track quickly.

There is a good chance I will not be avalible in Oct-Nov, so for me it would have to be either in Aug or Sep.

Great idea though, I've been looking for something like this for some time now.

if interest level doesn't grow,
I'll PM everyone on the list, if TPC hosts another session.

But it is suppose to be in October.

Time has come.
TPC is teaming up with Ian Law's Racing school on Oct 21st.

$280 for school
$130 for lapping

If you're lapping, you must provide proof that you have taken track school of some sort. Helmet is required if you are driver and passenger.
www.hondaprelude.to

you do not have to drive your own car there. I'm not.
