I had the 48 K service done yesterday at Airport mazda. One thing i noticed while coming back home is that the engine sound is not the same. I can hear some muffled noise and the car is definately feels heavy. I am taking the car back to them tomorrow and will post the outcome.
They did rotate the tires and change the air filter. ANy ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks,
SB

As stupid as it may sound.....parking brakes maybe? I've had those moments where I forgot to release my parking brakes and the car just felted heavy...:blush I even drove on the highway with parking brakes on, and smoke was coming from the rear..luckily that was on my old car. :)

Just came back from the dealership. The again rotated the tires back and everything is back to normal. They are saying that the tires were the problem. I am not sure about that, since tires only have 49K on them.
BTW, the tires are stock Toyo Proxes 195/
