Does anyone have an Infinity Baslink Sub/Amp in their three hatch? I was looking at one of these at Futureshop and was impressed by it. Its not going to blow my window out but I only want somthing to add a some base with my stock unit. I like that its small and fairly cheap.
Any feed back on these?

i find most of the stuff futureshop/best buy sell are lower end stuff.
ie, the not so powerful sub, and thats good for some and all, i still tihnk its good to go out and weigh your options.
im getting a full Alpine system this winter, mostly because Alpine only makes car audio stuff. go take a look at a 10 or 12" type E. they may be a bit more pricey, but the sound quality is WAY better.
currently, i have a pair of JL subs in my car, and i use them only for bass.
so i cant really be of much help here.

Ultimately it all depends on your budget. There are a multitude of choices out there, but in the end invest in a system that your financially comfortable with.
I have had some experience with the bass link system in my old Protege 5. The acoustics of the bass link really stand out in a hatch back set up. The frequency response is decent and the mono-amp used to power the bass link is quite good.
If your looking to add some bass without burning your wallet and sacrificing too much trunk space then the bass link is for you. This product has been on the market for almost 10 years and has won numerous design and innovation awards. Infinity is a company dedicated to sound technology, so you won't miss here.

Thanks Jetlag, I think I may go with it. The seem to make some quality stuff from what I have read and I like the size and it seems to have the perfect amount of bass I am looking for.

my girlfriend has it in yer yaris hatchback
it does pound somewhat but the bass is nowhere as deep as i'd like it to be.
it's good to save truck space but if you are looking for bass that actually sounds good, get an actual sub with amp instead.

Ya after seeing some installs and hearing some other systems I have decided to go with much larger. I was able to get smokeing deal on 2 x 12 JBL subs. Not sure yet if I will use both but I couldn't pass this deal up. So I will go with a amp/sub. And I am looking to build a custom box over the winter for house it all.
