Hi Guys...
I replaced my M3's stock Toyo tires recently (changed to GY Assurance triplethread, great so far) and noticed that the tires had uneven wear, specially the rear ones. The uneven wear was that they were noticeable more worn on the inside of the tire than on the outside. Any ideas why? would the toe-in or toe-out help on this?.
I took my car in for service today and asked them to check for it and they called back saying that allignment is needed. Is this common on fixing such a problem? My car is still driving straight, so I think I dont have an allignment problem (or at least a noticeable one), so I just dont want to spend the 80 something bucks on something that I will not know fixed the uneven wear problem until months from now when I can really see the new tires have worn evenly or not.
I do appreciate any comments.
THanks !
