I just came back from a stag in Montreal. The more I drove it the more I believe there is something that rotates that making this noise that's louder than usual. It's not the engine....it's got to do with tires/rims/axles......I am guessing...going to take it in to the dealer to have them take a look. It's within the 30-Days pre-owned car warranty.
Another thing I think it's wrong is when I turn on the fan in the climate controls....i can hear this gentle fast clicking noise near the vents. It's not too loud but I can hear it pretty well and I don't think it's supposed to be there.
Anyways....if anyone has any suggestions at where to look for in the road noise...aligment? balancing tires? bent rims/axles?

are you running cheap tires ? that may be the noise your hearing.

No they are the stock tires......just whatever they came with. They are the same tires as the other used M3s on the lot.

Clicking noise when you turn on the HVAC blower normally means that you have something stuck in the vent - likely a leaf.

Yeah, the stock tires are cheap if you are running the Goodyear RS-A's, however I have a similar sound as well but I'm running Falken ZE-512's but I'm thinking it may be my warpped rotors rubbing up against the pads. Going to have both changed out tonight, I'll let you know if it goes away.

the RS-As don't make clicking noises either.
If your rotors are warped, you'll feel a vibration as you brake.
I never had rotors soooo warped that it made noises (without braking).

I wasn't attributing the clicking noises to the tires, in the initial post, he said it may have to do with the fan, personally, I have no idea about that. In terms of vibrations during braking, I am experiencing that and hence the reason I'm changing them. All I was saying was that I am hearing a sound too (not the clicking), possibly from the tires or maybe like I said, my warpped rotors rubbing against pads which may require adjustment.

I only read your post this morning (read the 1st post last night), forgot what he said in the 1st part of his initial post. Chances are higher with an issue with the axles or bearings if he thinks it is a rotating noise (if from that area).
You plan on machining it or replacing the rotors? Good with your issue as well kid,

Usually it's as simple as putting the fan on the highest setting for a bit. Otherwise, you can usually get it by taking out the blower motor.
