I'm taking a wild guess here, but do all mazda3 use the same size brakes (except MS3).?

If so would it be possible to use 15" winter rims??

GX and GS can use 15 inches. GT needs at least 16. MS3 probably needs something even bigger.

GX and GS sedans can use 15". GT's and hatches need 16"+. I don't know about MS3's.

Right, forgot about the hatches. Is it different for the GS hatch or the GS sedan with the sports package?

The MS3 can use 16 steelies no matter what everyone else says. Been there done that.

Right, the basic 2.0 cars come with the smaller brakes. 15". The cars with non turbo 2.3 litre engines.. gt's, need 16's because of the size difference in brakes. The mazdaspeed 3's also have larger brakes than the gt's appraently, but I've also heard of them fitting 16" rims. But only specific makes.
